The best thing you can do for yourself is to make a connection to the life’s cute, amazing, breath-taking, wonderful side, and be careful not to lose it. You already know much about the other side. The hopeless, bleak, unforgiving, shallow, bitter side. But there are so many beautiful things out there too. And not all of them require (more) money. The only thing you need to do is to be willing to turn towards them. We are spiritual beings. We are social beings. We are visual beings. Maybe musical. Maybe we are dancers. Maybe you don’t want to be all of them at the same time. But you could do one. For now. You could call someone dear to you and see how they are. You could do a meditation exercise for fifteen minutes. Or you could do a virtual visual trip and feast on dreamscapes which fuel your own dreams. Hum something, who cares, you only live once. Move like a ballerina or a pop star of choice. For God’s sake, cook something! I did this: http://pinterest.com/pin/14003448811642854/ and I’m not even a chef. Do it once. Do it again. I’ve tried it and what I’ve learned is that once you get a scoop of vanilla chocolate striped ice cream, the kid inside you will crave for more.
So you’ll ask: what’s this for anyway? It’s to remind you of yourself. Of all of us as humans, of everything that lies within all things that exist, for all the reasons that live with you.
