What a time for breathing deeply,
slowing down,
meditating,
art,
meeting yourself again and remembering how to simply be!
My mind does this thing when I meditate in the morning…
If my body is not too tired and I did manage to get a good night’s sleep, then after 10 minutes or so, all the things I dreamt the night before start replaying clearly in my mind. One by one, they come back to me, only for as long as I can maintain that meditative state. Once I start going about my day, they fade away. Sometimes I write them down, because some of them are so weirdly beautiful, or just strange enough, that I want to keep them somehow.
So, what I noticed, after 10 days of quarantine and remote work, my mind started to get so clear, that I’m remembering bits of my dreams during the day also, sometimes even late at night, which never happened before. Like swans and fish in the Venetian Canals, my dreams come back to me easily now.
There is no real clarity without the space for it, in both time and space dimensions. And without clarity, there is no true going forward. We just need to allow it, each of us for ourselves. There is no permission pending from anybody else.
Humanity needed to stop for a cosmic second. And take a look at everything.
This is when we are forced to turn inside, face the cosmos within. It’s not by accident, nor by punishment. It’s a simple question: how do you want to go on?
Throw light on what needs light, and to choose how to go on.
We tried to negotiate who we are, for ages and ages, when the truth was always there, underneath all the mess we’ve made, waiting for us to see it. Now the waters are clearing. Breathe, look, truly look.
